Betting and Game Rules

Rules that apply to all play
These Betting and Game Rules apply to every bet, spin and hand placed through your account with us. They form part of our Terms & Conditions, and where a particular game sets out its own rules, those rules govern play in that game.
Play is for adults only: you must be 18 or over to open an account or place a stake with us. We hold a gaming licence for the games we offer, and accounts are verified before certain requests can be completed, as set out in the cashier.
- One account per player. You may hold one account only. Where we find duplicate accounts, we may close the additional accounts and settle any play on them in line with our Terms & Conditions.
- Your account is personal. You must place your bets yourself, from your own funds, and you may not allow anyone else to use your account or play on your behalf.
- Real money and bonus balance. Your balance may hold real money and bonus funds separately. The order in which the two are staked is shown in the cashier and in the game window.
- Bets are final once placed. A bet, spin or hand is confirmed the moment you press the stake, deal or spin control. It cannot be changed, cancelled or taken back after that point.
- Stakes must sit within the limits shown. Each game displays its own minimum and maximum stake, and any limits you have set on your account apply on top of them.
How bets and spins are settled
Every game we offer runs on the game server of the studio that supplies it, not in your browser or app. The result recorded by that server is the result of the round and is final.
What you see on screen is a display of that result. If the display and the server record differ, for example after a slow or broken connection, the server record stands and your balance is settled from it.
- In-game rules and paytables apply. Each game has a help or information screen setting out how wins are formed, which symbols or hands pay, how features are triggered and how pays are calculated.
- The return-to-player figure is shown in each game. The theoretical return to player is published in the game's help screen. It is a long-term average across a very large number of rounds and does not predict the outcome of any single session.
- Results are independent of one another. Outcomes are produced by a random number generator, and each round stands alone. Nothing in a game's past results makes a particular outcome more or less likely in the next round.
- Autoplay and quick spin are display settings. Rounds played through autoplay are settled in exactly the same way as rounds you start by hand, and they count in full towards any wagering or account limits.
Malfunctions, disconnections and unfinished rounds
A malfunction is any fault in a game, in a supplier's system or in ours that produces a result the game was not designed to produce, or that pays an amount the paytable does not support.
Losing your connection part-way through a game does not mean losing the round. How the round is handled depends on the point at which the connection dropped.
| Situation | How the round is handled |
|---|---|
| Connection drops mid-spin on a slot | The result is already set on the game server. Any win is credited and the completed round appears in your betting history. |
| Connection drops before a decision you still have to make | The round is held open and resumes from the same point when you reopen the game, or it is settled under the game's own rules. |
| The game closes before the result is determined | The stake is returned to your balance and the round is voided. |
| A fault affects the game or our systems | The affected rounds and any pays from them are void, and balances are corrected. |
If a round is still open when you return, finish it before moving on. Some games will not let a new round begin until the previous one has been closed.
Playing with bonus funds
Bonus funds, free spins and any play funded by a promotion are governed by the terms attached to that offer as well as by these rules. Where the two differ on a point of bonus play, the terms of the offer apply.
- Maximum bet while a bonus is active. Each offer sets a maximum stake per round. Rounds placed above that figure may be void, together with any winnings they produce.
- Game contributions differ. Games contribute to wagering at different rates and some are excluded altogether. The rates that apply are listed in the terms of the offer.
- Restricted patterns of play. Low-risk or hedged staking, such as covering most of a roulette table in a single round, does not count towards wagering and may void the bonus.
- Cancelling a bonus. You can cancel an active bonus from your account. The bonus funds and anything won from them are then removed, leaving your real-money balance.
Live casino and table games
Live tables are hosted by a dealer in a studio and run to the clock of that table. The rules for each table, including side bets and payouts, are set out in the help screen of the table you are seated at.
- The dealer's decision stands. Where a dealer calls a result at the table, that call, as recorded by the studio, settles the round.
- Late bets do not stand. Bets must be confirmed inside the betting window. A stake that is not confirmed before the window closes stays in your balance and takes no part in the round.
- Dealer and equipment errors. If a card is misdealt, a ball is spun out of sequence or equipment faults, the studio applies its own correction procedure. Rounds that cannot be completed correctly are void and stakes are returned.
- Seats and conduct. We may remove you from a table after a long period of inactivity so the seat can be used, or where behaviour in chat is abusive towards the dealer or other players.
Queries and disputes about a round
If you believe a round has not settled correctly, contact us and we will look into it.
- Write to support@casinorichprize.co.uk or use the live chat on the site.
- Give us the exact name of the game, the date and time the round took place, and the round or game reference shown in your betting history.
- Where you can, keep a screenshot of the screen as you saw it, as it helps us match your account of the round to the record.
We check the round against the supplier's server record, which is the record we settle from, and come back to you with what we find. If our answer does not resolve the matter, the complaints route in our Terms & Conditions sets out the next step, including referral to an alternative dispute resolution provider.
