Accepting these terms, and changes we make to them

These terms are the agreement between you and us. By opening an account, placing a bet or using any part of the site, you confirm that you have gone through them and accept them. If there is something here you do not agree with, please do not use your account.

They apply alongside the other rules published on the site: our privacy policy, the rules of each game, the terms of any promotion you take part in and the payment information in the cashier. Where the terms of an offer differ from these general terms, the offer terms apply to that offer only.

We may change these terms from time to time, for example:

  • to reflect a change in the law or in regulatory requirements
  • to cover a new game type, feature or payment method
  • to make a term clearer or correct a mistake
  • to change how part of the service works for security or technical reasons

Where a change matters to you, we give notice before it takes effect, by e-mail to the address on your account or by a message on the site. Using your account after that date means you accept the updated terms. If you would rather not accept them, you can close your account and withdraw the balance available to you.

Eligibility, your account and verification

Who can open an account

  • You must be 18 or over. Gambling by anyone under 18 is not allowed.
  • You must live in the United Kingdom and be able to enter into a contract.
  • The account must be opened in your own name and used only by you.
  • You must not be registered with a self-exclusion scheme, or subject to a block you have asked us for.
  • You must not be prevented from gambling by a court order or by the terms of your employment.

One account per person

You may hold one account only. If we find duplicate accounts, we may merge or close them, void any bonuses taken on them and hold the balance until our checks are finished.

Your details and your login

Keep the name, address, date of birth, e-mail and phone number on your account accurate and up to date. We use them for verification and for payments, and incorrect details can delay a withdrawal. Keep your password to yourself, do not let anyone else use your account, and tell us as soon as you think someone else has access.

Verification checks

We hold a gaming licence and must confirm who our customers are. We check identity, age and address when you register and, in any event, before your first withdrawal is paid. Where we are required to, or where your activity makes it reasonable, we also ask about the source of your funds. While a check is open we may limit deposits, play or withdrawals.

What we ask forWhat it confirms
Photo identificationYour name, date of birth and that you are 18 or over
A recent utility bill or bank statementThe address registered on your account
Proof of the payment method usedThat the card or account belongs to you

Deposits, withdrawals and pending checks

You can deposit using the methods shown in the cashier when you are logged in. Minimum and maximum amounts, processing times and any fees charged by the provider are shown there and can change. Funds in your account are held for gambling, earn no interest and are not a bank deposit.

You can ask to withdraw available funds at any time. The following applies:

  1. We pay money back to the method you deposited with wherever that method supports payments out; where it does not, we use another method in your name.
  2. Payments are made only to an account in your own name. We do not pay third parties.
  3. A withdrawal may be held while verification, security or anti-money-laundering checks are completed.
  4. Bonus funds, and winnings from them, can be withdrawn only once the conditions of the offer have been met.
  5. If a fault or a duplicate payment credits your account with money that is not yours, we correct the balance and may recover the amount.

Any limits you have set yourself, and any we have applied to your account, are shown in your account settings.

Bonuses and promotions

Every offer has its own terms, published with the offer, covering who can take part, what you have to do and how long you have. Claiming an offer means you accept those terms as well as these.

Unless an offer says otherwise:

  • promotions are limited to one per person, household, device and payment method
  • bonus funds carry a wagering requirement that must be met before bonus winnings can be withdrawn
  • a maximum stake per spin or per hand applies while a wagering requirement is open
  • games contribute to wagering at different rates, and some do not contribute at all
  • bonuses and free spins expire if they are not used within the stated period

Opening extra accounts, acting together with other players, placing low-risk or opposite bets to clear wagering, and stake patterns designed only to turn a bonus into cash all count as abuse of a promotion. Where we find it, we may remove the bonus and any winnings from it and bar you from future offers. Your own deposited funds stay yours.

Safer gambling tools, and closing or suspending an account

Tools in your account

From your account you can set deposit, loss and session limits, take a short time-out, or self-exclude for a longer fixed period. A limit that lowers your spend applies as soon as you confirm it; an increase takes effect only after a cooling-off period. This site is for adults aged 18 and over.

Free, confidential support is available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline. GamStop lets you block yourself from the online gambling sites covered by that scheme; while your registration is active we cannot accept you as a customer.

Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account at any time through live chat or by e-mail to support@casinorichprize.co.uk, and we return your available balance once any checks are complete. A self-exclusion cannot be lifted before the period you chose has ended.

When we may suspend or close an account

We may suspend or close an account where you breach these terms or the terms of an offer, where a verification or source-of-funds check is outstanding, where we suspect fraud, collusion or prohibited software, where the account has been dormant for a long period, or where the law or our licence requires it. We tell you what we need from you unless we are not permitted to. If we close an account for a breach, we pay back the balance that is properly yours and may withhold winnings linked to the breach.

Complaints, our liability and the law that applies

Raising a complaint

Please contact us first. Live chat on the site is the quickest route, and you can also write to support@casinorichprize.co.uk. Give your username, the date and time of what happened and anything else that helps, and we will look into it and reply in writing within a reasonable time.

If we cannot settle a matter between us, you can refer the complaint to an independent dispute resolution service at no cost to you. We will tell you who to contact and what to send, and we take part in the process in good faith. This does not affect any other rights you have in law.

Our liability

We run the site and the games with reasonable care, but we cannot promise that the service will always be available or free of faults. We are not responsible for problems caused by your own device or connection, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. If a game malfunctions, the round is void and stakes for that round are returned; a result shown in error does not create a right to be paid.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited in law, and your rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any part of them cannot be enforced, the rest continues to apply.
